I don't know why, but lately every time I try to erase a file in m
recycle bin I get an error message..

My psychic powers tell me that you have XVID installed to your system. I
bet if you uninstalled or upgraded XVID this problem would go away. =)

That's unfortunately a little vague. The actual crash dump file might have
more interesting data, but there's not enough to go on from that initial
data set. =\
