That's caused most likely by KB908531 (MS06-015). MS announced to
plan the release of a revised version of that one on April 25th.

In the meantime you may want to try an update of HP's Share-To-Web
software (if beeing or having been installed on your machine) and
Nvidia video card drivers lower than driver version 61.94 via Nvidias
website: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

In case you don't find an update for your HP software, you may want
to try one of the following "fixes" in the meantime, if you are
*not* on Windows 2000:

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads...are-To-Web.zip
(Note this is a Zip file and will need to be extracted. It contains
a REG file which needs to be imported into the registry via double
clicking the contained REG file. You may have to reboot Windows
afterwards.)

or

Kelly has made a patch with exact same functionality available at:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Line #383 - this is a vbs file and instructions on how to use such
files are at the top of the page.

The revised KB908531 (MS06-15) will include the exact same fixes.

Bye,
Freudi

I'm having a similar problem, but can't seem to get it "fixed". I have
removed the offending update, downloaded HP updates, checked the default
prefix, and downloaded the Zip file. Nothing seems to be working. Please help!

Doy ou have by any chnace a Nvidia video card on your machine?
If true, look for an updated driver on Nvidia's homepage:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

If that doesn't help, see
