I had that setup for a while, but not a Linksys switch.
The only problem I had was at power up neither the keyboard nor the
mouse would work until about 5 seconds after hitting any key on the
keyboard.
No errors in the event log either.
Same w/ XP and Vista boxes and this switch.
I had another switch that was hit & miss with either both working or not
at all.
