When I try to install a new device(Printer / Soundblaster) I get a message
stating to put the SP2 CD in and my software did not come with a SP2 Disk.
Also it seems to be looking for a "KSuser.dll" program that it cannot find.

My second problem is that my audio no longer functions. If I try to use my
CD I get a message that some other program has control the Audio system.

I have exactly the same problem with my soundcard. After the automatic
windows update, my soundcard is not working. I've tried everything like
resetting the BIOS, installing drivers in Safe mode, system restore to a
previous date and I've even bought a new soundcard, but the problem still
exists, I cannot install or update drivers. Every time I try to install or
update a soundcard driver, it pops up an error message saying "The I/O
operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application
request". When I tried to install a new sound card, the installation process
stopped at "ksuser.dll" too. Now my computer cannot play any video or audio
files, it is making my life miserable. Can anyone out there help me?

I am having the same problem except it is also with my video card
installation too.
In the device manager, there are 2 yellow exclamation marks at my Display
and Sound. I cannot find a solution for the life of me.
Did you have any luck finding a solution?

Unfortunately, no. I've called the manufacturer of my computer, and talked
to numerous Microsoft specialists. They even promised a solution but I never
recieved one. Their official "solution" for the problem was to format the
machine.

I'm sorry to hear you have the same problem too.

Attached is ksuser.dll (zipped).
Unzip it to a floppy, and next time it's asked for, point the
application to the floppy drive.

Do you have a registry checker/repairer? e.g. bug doctor or reghealer.
If you still have problems then use such a program to clean up the
registry
