Problem Installing XP SP2. Error Code 0x80070005

I've already tried THREE, yes THREE, times trying to install XP SP2 and I
ALWAYS get Error 0x80070005 before it finishes installing; so I wasted 3
hours of my time waiting for this to fail on me.

If anyone has any solutions to Error 0x80070005, then I'd be very grateful
because as of right now, I can't even update my iPod because "I don't have
Service Pack 2." ._. Thank you.

WinXP SP2 was released almost four years ago. Why haven't you attempted to
install it and all post-SP2 critical updates before now?

Assuming you're running WinXP SP1 now, skip straight to SP3...but see
