Problem with KB899591

Hello -
We have a bunch of newly deployed WinXP SP2 machines. These were made from
a Ghost image and there is something common to them that is causing a problem
with KB899591, which is a security fix for Remote Desktop.

Remote Desktop will not work and the follow error appears in the System log
at startup: "Cannot load illegal module:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\rdpwd.SYS."
Uninstalling the update solves the problem, but that isn't an acceptable
solution.
Also, the update keeps wanting to get reinstalled even after installing it
and rebooting.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to resolve this? Deploying the
machines and then fixing the problem is more acceptable then trying to find
what is wrong in the image.

Thanks.

I still can't figure out what caused the problem, but simply going to the MS
site, downloading KB899591 and installing it manually seems to have solved
the problem.

Now according to the Registry the update is installed, it doesn't pop up as
not installed and there are no problems using Remote Desktop.
