Problem with manuscript writing WLM 8.5 French

Hello.
I have a problem for using the manuscript writing function .
I am using XP Pro SP2 French with WLM 8.5.1302.1018

When i click on the button with a pen, i obtain this message :

"All participants not being able to post the manuscript writing, your
messages will be sent in the form of text"
I have installing Journal Viewer 1.5 and his security correctif. Nothing is
changing.
Who can help me to resolve this problem?

Hi Noel,

What you're seeing is when your contacts aren't using an up-to-date version of the real
Messenger client and/or aren't using Windows. Messenger checks to see if the contact you're
sending to can receive your digital ink and if they can't, you will get the message you are
seeing.

Yes, but i have a contact who use Vista and his digital ink is working !!!
If this contact write to me with manuscript writing, so i can respond with
manuscript writing !!!
It seems that i can't begin a manuscript writing by myself...
