Hello LynxBlade, and welcome.

It looks like you need to update some drivers and install SP-1.

Please post your system specs, this will help me and everyone else,
help you.

You just probably need some updateing. Thats the best I can do with
this limited information.

Hello joel406 and thank you for the quick reply

I am not quite sure what exactly you are asking for, but from what you
said, this is the information I have gathered about my system:

WINDOWS EDITION
Windows Vista Home Premium

*System*
Manufacturer: Hewlett Packard Company
Model: a6030n
Processor: AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz

*Other*
Windows is Activated
Product ID: 89578-OEM-7332157-00061

Hope this helps!

Download the free program ShellExView (you can find it with a Google
search). Install and run it. It will show you all the programs that have
installed "hooks" into the operating system. Sort the list on "Type" and
look for the programs that say, "Context Menu." These are programs that
insert themselves into the drop down menu when you right click on something.
Disable everything that isn't either a Microsoft program or one that is
associated with hardware on your computer (video drivers, BlueTooth stacks,
etc.). Reboot.

This may help some.

If this problem started appearing in the last few days, it's because of a
new program that you installed, or a program that performed an update.
Installing SP1, if you haven't already done so, will help as well.

Not exactly sure how to get SP 1 or I don't know if I already have it.
Windows update isn't finding anything, and I am currently sorting
through my list of recently installed/updated programs

Thank you PTravel for the information, but I do not think that i
necessary. The problem has gone away... at least for the moment. I
looks as though the problem was in me installing Webroot SpySweepe
(AntiSpyware Program.) After A quick run through, I uninstalled th
program, and ran the "sfc/scannow" command in Command Prompt. Thi
helped me remove the program and fix all of my corrupted files on m
system. It looks as though my computer is in clean working order no
thanks to you and joel! Many thanks for your time, and I hope to dea
with you again in the future.
