I sware I have and can see all the machines in the network group this
morning, I have three 32 bit machines running xp and vista 32 bit and a
networked printer in the workgroup and they are all visible by this 64bit
vista machine. I actually migrated some outlook express files this morning.
But all of a suddern, I cannot see others in the network anymore. Now I can
only see the networked printer and myself. The strange thing is that Norton
IS smart firewall can see them and I gave full trust in the firewall and
still no avail.

I have done:
1. Turn off Norton IS
2. Turn off Norton Firewall
3. Uninstall some software I installed since this morning
4. Reboot or Cold start this machine many times.

None of the above seems working. Any idea?

Thanks.

Hi
Switching Off Firewall does Not get it out of the system. Some services and
sys drivers keep running in the background and might block Network Traffic.
May be you want to explain this too: "Uninstall some software I installed
since this morning".
I..e.if the software is Network related what is it?

looks the computers are back. After Few hours wait!!!
I uninstalled an incompatiable logitech handset software that provides
handset links to Skype.
I also uninstalled an email notifier, pop peeper, which is working but was
installed right before the problem reveals it self.
