Problem with Offer Remote Assistance

"Offer Remote Assistance" was working using that option available with
older version WLM. Since it has been dropped from the latest version so
I am trying that available in the start-up program
folder(Start->Programs->Maintenance->Windows Remote Assistance) but it
does not work for some reason. I can connect to the same PC(the same
global IP) by Remote Desktop. Could anyone help?

Your best bet would to ask this question one of the Vista newsgroups or the Vista forum since
this a general Vista issue:
microsoft.public.windows.vista.networking_sharing
