= a full-file patch failed because the source was required
Option 1 - try and installed the full patch file by downloading the same
from MS Updates - no guarantees, sometimes still asks for the original media.
Option 2 - replace your disks, if your disks weren't OEM, contact MS.

|I have Office 2002/XP. When I try to update with Office XP Service Pack 3,
| it fails and I get a message stating I need to insert the installation CD.
| It was an legetimate CD, but I have misplaced it. Is there a way to update
| without the CD?
