Problem with Outlook and windows mail

I've read a lot of the messages on this newsgroup but think my problem is a
bit different
I have Outlook 2003 on my new computer but I started using Vista windows
mail and am getting used to it--BUT when i try to send an e-mail from the
internet it goes to Outlook and am unable to send it (I don't have Outlook
completley set up)
Is there a way to use outlook from the internet if I have windows mail? or
what do I do so I can send an e-mail from the internet?

Go to Default Programs, which you can access either from the Start
menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item: "Set your default
programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows Mail.
If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by
clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

If you want to use Outlook, set up your mail account in Outlook.
