problem with plugin.ocx and KB912945

Hello
I try to see a web with activex controls and I see in a forum that I must
change the version of plugin.ocx (its a file of windows) and install the
kb912945. If I do it I can see the web ok, but when i resart the computer the
windows file protection delete the version that i install.
Can anyone help me?
