Hi,

The recently added tool has always been pretty buggy but it was still very
handy. I recently changed my HDD (cloned my old one) and now I am finding the
recently added section always remains empty even when I get a brand new song.
Don't know whats happening, I have cloned my HDD before and it was fine so am
really stumped.

Any thoughts? Thanks

According to http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html :

"If you're using a non-US locale format for your Date, the Recently
Added feature won't work right (it likely won't show any content).
Either go to the Regional and Language Options control panel, click
Customize, click Date and use a MM/DD/YYYY form OR make your own
"Recently Added" playlist."

To make your own "Recently Added" playlist, right-click Playlists in the
tree on the left and click Create Auto Playlist. Enter a name for the
playlist and add the condition "Date Added" under "Music in my library".
You can then further customize the condition to something as "Date added
is after last 30 days" or "Date added is after yesterday".

Regards

I have exactly such a list. I also added "Total playcount is less
than 1" so the tracks disappear from the list once I've played them.

Thank you very much for the info. The playlist option helped me solve the
problem. Don't know how to change the date to US format though, its strange
though since I always used UK standard date and it used to work fine before.

Also I can't get album art to display on my playlist even though it is
ticked in the column option?

And it will probably work again, sometime soon. I think it flips
between working/not working as we pass the day in each month that
equals the month number, e.g. 1/1 2/2 3/3 and so on

WMP can't show album art while viewing a playlist; if you click the
little arrow right next to the Search field, only Details view is
available, the 2 other views (which do show album art) aren't.
