Hi.

My desktop computer recently got infected with MS antivirus 2008, an
i've being getting rid of it now for a couple of days. I downloade
spyware doctor, and SUPERantispyware to help me rid my computer of thi
infection. This eventually worked, and when I thought I was in the clea
I opened Internet Explorer to find that the display on certain page
(e.g Wikipedia, and Google) was messed up. It seems that the alignmen
is all wrong, and the lettering is large. I looked at the settings, bu
they havent changed from what they were before I got the virus. Also
when I search on Google and click on one of the search results it open
a new window and re-directs me to another search engine (differen
everytime). On top of that, some pages dont even open (such a
Hotmail).

I'm running on Vista, and have the latest version of IE. I'm runnin
Norton antivirus, Spyware doctor, and SUPERantispyware.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tom

Start a new thread and entitle it PING FRANK. He's the self appointed
expert in Vista's so-called "rock solid" security.

If you want my advice, nuke Vista and install a secure operating system
like Ubuntu that doesn't have virus problems like Windows does. Check it
out at www.ubuntu.com/

You stupid POS idiot moron lying linux troll. MS antivirus 2008 is a
fake anti-spyware removal utility that is actually a trojan virus. It
requires the corporation the user to get it installed.

"requires the corporation of the user" makes no sense but what else is
new with your disgusting posts? If Vista were as rock solid as you say,
the user could relax and not worry. Turns out that's a bald faced lie!

Anyone ever notice every time the idiot Frank spouts a line of
obscenities and insults accusing somebody of being stupid this moron
almost always makes a bigger mistake himself.

"It requires the corporation the user to get it installed."

The word you wanted but were too stupid to know how to spell was
cooperation. You know, something you never practice. You rather try to
bully, mock and ridicule. Funny, it always backfires and blows up in
your face.

Say Frank, last time I checked **** was ALWAYS liquid. You have a
talent for restating the obvious.

Never got a GED, Frank, because I graduated from High School.
Projecting will get you nowhere here. Being jealous won't help you get
your GED.

No, I asked you what your advice for the OP is and all you can do is
bluster out lies, insults, profanity, etc. about me.

Bullshit! This has nothing to do with the safety of Vista! Antivirus XP 2008
is not an antivirus program but a very infectuous Trojan. Shut up from this
newsgroup, this is for Vista, not Ubuntu.

No **** and Windows just loves it.

Shut up

Can't get that trojan with Ubuntu. Ergo, a good idea to switch.
