Even though this update is already installed, if I check for updates the
results show that I need to install it again. If I turn on automatic updates.
this update continually downloads and installs. When I finally noticed this,
there were over 25 instances of it in my installed updates file. Note below
that the information listed on the update site shows the download size as 0
KB and 0 minutes. Any help will be graetely appreciated!

Security Update for Windows XP (KB911562)
Download size: 0 KB , 0 minutes (Downloaded; ready to install)
A security issue has been identified that could allow an attacker to
remotely compromise your Windows-based system using Microsoft Data Access
Components and gain control over it. You can help protect your computer by
installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this item, you may
have to restart your computer.

Do you have XP Service Pack 2? If not, you should install Service Pack 2
before 911562.

Yes, I have XP Service Pack 2 installed as well as all of the XP updates to
date except for the subject update. Do you have any other suggestions. I
would like to have Aoto updates turned on. If for no other reason than to
keep from getting the warning message every time I boot.
Thanks for you reply!
