When WLM 7.5 has been started up immediately windows installer starts en
tries (i guess) to install WLM again, WLM shuts down. The problem probably
started after I installed sp2. With another user on the same pc there is no
problem.

Greetings Frankie,

When you start Messenger, the Windows Installer will do a "check" to validate that your
Messenger installation is working correctly. If it finds a problem, it will attempt to
"repair" itself.

Usually a forced repair install will stop this from happening. To do so, shut down Messenger
if it's running, go to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, click Windows Live
Messenger (or MSN Messenger in your case), choose the Change button and then choose Repair
when prompted.

Greetings Jonathan,

It's WLM, not MSN 7,5. I'm not so good with this, my daughter uses it.
I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. I have also tried before your
answer to remove everything and install again, but that did'n't help. What i
don't understand is that there is no problem with another user of WLM on the
same pc.
I saw the same problem in the mail of someone else.
