Stick to the same thread.

Go to start/run, and type: regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll
OK, then when you get the successful message then type:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll
Reboot and try WU again.

If that hasn't helped and you've done everything in:
"Error Code: 0x80004005" error message when you install Windows XP (for updates as well)
