Hello,

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit. I bought my laptop from France
so Windows were in french. I downloaded Vistalizator and changed the
language to english. Then i had some problems with the system files, msn
messenger, installing programs etc. But i fixed that when i downloaded
some updates that were needed for the vistalizator (Windows Update
Agent, Windows Search 4.0). Now i have one problem left:
I changed the language for the non unicode programs to greek in order
to be able to play my movies subtitles in greek. I did that through the
system locale. But now it seems that there is the same problem i had
before, before the updates (msn messenger can't sign in,firefox doesn'n
open some pages). Then i changed the system locale back to english again
and everything worked fine.
So is there a way for my laptop to recognise the greek non unicode
without causing problem to other functions?

Thanks,
Irene

Try to replace faulty programs. All proper software supports Unicode and not
fails when system codepage is not Latin-1.
