I found, for me, another problem with WLM.
I have 6 mail accounts with Hotmail as my Default account.

If I am viewing a message while in the Hotmail account and then decide to
send a message it will go out using my default Hotmail account.
If I am viewing a message while in another account it tries to send it with
that account, I have to go to the use account window and change it to
Hotmail.

This was never a problem with Outlook Express. It always sent messages with
my default account unless I selected otherwise.

Also WLM is still very slow compared to Outlook Express.

That is the way that WLMail works.
I like the change.

I don't recall that MS Outlook Express would use the default account if I
was in another account. That is not the behavior of my other clients
(Pegasus Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, et. al.)

Your description of the behavior of WLMail matches my expectation of proper
client behavior, so I don't see that as a problem.

I've not noticed that. Perhaps you have WLMail configured to sign in to the
Windows Live Services? That does tend to slow the start (though not
intolerably on my computer). But once running, it seems about the same.

It's not really a problem since most of us want it to work that way.
After all, what is the point of having multiple email accounts if
you don't want to reply from the account the message was sent to?

I don't like it, now it has released an e-mail address that I like to keep
private.

Since Outlook Express didn't do this I didn't check since Hotmail was my
default e-mail.

Create a new email from the default account. Save to the desktop and use
the template to send new emails.

I could do that, but I think I will do my best to check before sending.
When you get old you don't like change.

Three of my accounts won't let me send e-mail unless I am in France or log
onto their site.

Speaking of keeping your e-address private . . . . you need to change the
address on your newsgroup account (General tab) as now you've broadcasted
this Hotmail address to every spammer in the world who uses newsgroups to
harvest e-adresses . . . . .

Understood, but many providers allow you to change the displayed
'From' address on an account, so theoretically you could have the
same @hotmail.com 'From' address for all accounts. That way it
would not matter which account you sent from.
