problem in taskbar properties (bug)

It appears that there is a bug in the taskbar property manager; when some
symbols (such as networking, speakers, and battery) are selected, the
preview screen gets rid of the wrong ones, or adds in the wrong ones. On
the actual screen there is no problem, but is there some way to fix this? I
am currently running Vista Buisness Edition, with a Sony laptop. Anyone
have a suggestion?
