Problem with today's Windows 2000 Automatic Updates

Installed 4 updates to Windows 2000 today, and PC began acting as though
Windows had just been installed for the first time. I have lost my email a/cs
and IE Favorites, not to mention loads of other settings. My files are still
in My Documents, but a new My Documents folder has been set up under a
different username.

Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Any suggestions?
