problem with uninstalling nero 7

can anybody help please.
I am trying to uninstall nero 7, so I can puy nero 8 on. The installer keep
crashing and won't let me uninstall 7. If i try installing nero 8, it gets
to the part where it tells me it has to uninstall 7 first and then stops. If
I go through the uninstall programe it is gathering information and then
tells me the uninstall has stopped working and is sending a report.

Did you go to Vista {Start>Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program>click
on nero 7 and uninstall it.}

in your start menu before you tried installing Nero 8?

On the website of nero there is a nero uninstall program, You should run
this, and then install nero 8.

If this is an upgrade from XP, you can try installing Nero 7 over the
current copy. Often all the necessary entries do not get moved properly in
the upgrade, especially for those programs you are warned against.

Nero has a 'Nero Removal Tool' on their site. Use it. If you have Nero 7
and you did an upgrade, you may have to reinstall Nero 7 over itself before
the removal.

If you use the Nero Removal Tool, be patient. I've used it a few times and
it takes a LONG time. It will look like nothing is happening, but it works.
