Problem using site

When I open a certain site, there is an option to log in, but this is
impossible because the location where to enter the data, is only visible with
an 'x' (suggesting a picture that is not there) and i can not enter data.
According to the owner of the site it has something to do with script
blocking or the version of Internet Explorer, that I use. I've tried all
kinds of adjustments and downloads, but it doesn't help. Funny though because
in the past i've succeeded once to enter the site. Can someone help me out ?

I guess everybody here needs your OS version and SP State.
Is it happening only on one page, or are there others?

There is an "advanced" option to suppress Pictures in the IE... but...
