I just upgraded my video card to an Nvidia BFG 8800GT and because I had a
350W power supply I thought I should also upgrade the power supply. So I put
in a BFG 650W power supply. I had an 8600GT card before. Anyway my sytem
will go into sleep mode after about 20 minuets, which is fine, but I used to
be able to move the mouse first thing in the morning and my unit would wake
up and I would login and everything was fine. Now once it goes to sleep I
can not wake it up. I have to turn the power switch off on the back of the
power supply and then when Vista boots up it says do you want to boot into
safe mode. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. I sent an email to BFG and
their response was to update my BIOS, but I have the latest BIOS and it
worked before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking
that it may just be the power supply and I might have to take it back and try
another brand. THANKS!

Go to Advance Power Settings.
Set hard drive to turn off a minute or 2 before sleep.
Set Hybrid and Hibernate modes to "Never"
Under USB settings select "Disable"
Under Multimedia select "Allow ....."

Tried this but still won't wake up. I see the blue power light on the back
of the computer flash when I move the mouse, but the computer does not wake
up. I still have to turn the power switch off on the back of the power
supply. I did not see the Set Hybrid and Hibernate modes in the Advanced
Settings? Thanks!

Control Panel>>System and maintenance>>device Manager>>Mice and other
pointing devices>>Highlight your mouse>>Right Click>>Properties>>Allow this
device to wake up computer.

Your PS has nothing to do with it.

You'll find hibernate mode if you expand "Sleep".
