Problem w/Windows Update for Win 98SE

I have recently tried to update my PC which is running Win98SE and was unable
to due so due to an error explaining that says "Software Update Incomplete".
I tried the resolutions stated in Article 319585 for Win98SE with no
difference. I need to know if there is anything else I can try. The use of
the update has worked previously and it is only now that I can not update
Win98SE.
