On Friday the 17th of June, the last Windows XP Home Edition Update
automatically downloaded and installed. From that moment till now I have the
following problem: Very frequently, but not always, when I try to move, copy
or delete a file or folder the following message appears "Windows Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." and my command for moving, etc isn't executed.
I tried restoring my computer to an earlier time by the "System Restore"
utility of Windows but that didn't solve the problem.
Can anyone help, please??

I had the same problem. I discovered that uninstalling Adobe reader corrected
the problem. Hope it works for you.

I tried uninstalling Adobe reader, Ian, but it didn't work out. The problem
persists...
