Hey

I have had a problem lately with my Windows Media Player(version 11)
Following is the description of the problem
About 20-15 seconds before any song that i play on Windows Media Playe
ends, the song gets a bit screwed, and it kinda stops and begins, kind
laggy music for 10 seconds or so. Then the end of the song plays, an
when next song starts, same thing. The WMP is totally updated, and
cannot desinstall it and install it again because it came with th
computer... :

There isn't any problem with the songs, they play perfectly i
RealPlayer

Please help :confused

I have noticed this too. I believe WMP is getting the info for the next
song ready, and that causes the song it is playing to stop for a half
second or so. Try it with only one song in the playlist and you will
see it does not happen. No idea how to stop it from doing this

Your system shipped with a buggy sound card driver. Get the latest update
for the sound card driver from the sound card vendor AND right-click on the
Speaker icon in the system tray, select Playback Devices, right-click
Speakers in that new dialog, go to Properties, then go to Enhancements -
choose "Disable All Enhancements" and you should be fixed up.

This should actually have a note in the online Help file too. =\

Thanks so much, now the music even loads faster. :

And by the way, why isn't "Disable All Enhancements" already used a
default by the system, if the music screws up if it isn't???
