Hi, I am getting some problems with Windows XP Service Pack 2. I am unable

to uninstall the SP2 from my system. Its giving the following error.

"Bosnian(Latin,Bosnia and Herzegovina) is selected as the language for

standards and formats, or for non-Unicode programs. This language is not

supported prior to Windows Service Pack 2, Please readmesp.htm to select a

different language"

I've checked settings in control panel, English(United States) is selected

everywhere. How to uninstall SP2 in my system? I could not see the restore

point before installing SP2 to revert. What to do?

See if anything here helps, Venumadhav:

The new language locales that are included in update 897338 for Windows XP
Service Pack 2:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;897338

See section entitled "How to specify the language that is used for
non-Unicode programs" and change it back to English (US).

Or perhaps you need to uninstall 897338 before uninstalling SP2?

You might try contacting Product Support Services () or
your local Microsoft office.
