I had this problem earlier today on a Dell.
I had success with the following:
Go to Start, Settings, Control panel
Double click on Dell Wireless WLAN
Check mark both "Let this tool manage ..." and "Enable Radio"
Afterthat, I could cofigure and select the router (actually, these were OK)
And then it woked again
