Problems with Adobe software

I'm having problems with Adobe reader and Photoshop elements 6.0 and getting
the licensing agreement acceptance. When the agreement pops up to accept or
decline (in reader) you can click on accept and nothing happens. You have to
X out and you cannot run the reader.

In Elements I had registered the program and confirmed this with Adobe. Then
PSE 6 started asking me to register, remind again in 7 days, or not register.
No matter what you select nothing happens. Adobe says you have to run the
program as the ADMINISTRATOR. That doesn't work. Now I'm down to calling
Microsoft, Toshiba, or Adobe again. Each says the problem is the other guys!

Has any one else experienced this?

Issue:

When you install Adobe Reader 8 on Windows Vista you see
the error message, "The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is
inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have
write permission on the Temp folder."

Reason:

You have turned off User Account Control or you are logged
in using the default administrator account.

Solution:
1. In Control Panels, choose User Accounts.
2. Click "Turn User Account Control on or off".
3. Check the box to "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your
computer" and then click OK.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Install Adobe Reader 8.

As for Photoshop Elements, is the version you are running the latest?

Hello, press start, all programs, applications, run , then paste this
command into the run bar: regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\jscript.dll it
worked for me with other adobe software..

I installed Photoshop Elements 6.0 on my Vista machine (bought by my
hubby for me for my birthday in Nov.), and launched and used it once...

then, my SIL and DD bought me a new Kodak EasyShare Z1275 for
Christmas. PSE 6 automatically popped up to download my photos for
me...(and still does, even though...)

then, I had a window pop up saying my license or certificate had
expired (just bought PSE6 in October '07), and now, PSE6 won't
launch....at all....help? Will that "regsvr32
c:\windows\system32\jscript.dll " help me here?

Also - rfbaum47 - how did you contact Adobe? Was it part of the pay-for
service (that I, being a little on the cheap side am trying to avoid,
lol)?
