Problems with AdSubtract Pro 2.52 in Vista + IE7

Does anyone know if AdSubtract Pro 2.52 is comaptible with Vista and IE7?

With AdSubtract enabled in Vista, browsing with IE7 is painfully slow. If I
quit AdSubtract then browsing in IE7 is back to being quick.

I noticed that AdSubtract sets itself up as a Proxy between my PC and the
Internet. In the LAN settings of IE7 it's set as HTTP proxy 'adsubtract' and
uses port 4444 (as it does in XP) and also adds itself to the HOST file as
'127.0.0.1 adsubtract', but it makes IE7 crawl! As a test I installed Maxthon
2 and found that works fine with AdSubtract running, so what could cause IE7
to go so slow when running AdSubtract?

Anyone shed any light on this please?
