Problems after SP2 Install...

After waiting for some help I managed to download and install SP2 and upon
reboot I was greeted with the BSOD. I had to do a repair on my OS and I am
back to square one and I can't access Windows Updates. Please help.

happened again. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there something I
can do to prevent it? Please advise.

There are specific measures that you need to take to ensure that your system
is ready for the SP 2 update. You can see these on the Windows Update
website. Briefly, you need to make sure your system is clean of all
malware, disable your anti-virus scanner, defrag your hard drive and other
steps you can read about on the Windows Update website. But the most
important thing to consider is if you need to install SP 2 in the first
place.
