Problems attaching files to yahoo emails

I recently purchased and loaded Vista Ultimate. I previously had XP Media
Center. My problem is that everytime I try to attach a file to a Yahoo
email, my system crashes and shuts down. I've tried to update everything as
best as possible and i still have this very disturbing issue. Anyone have
any suggestions? Thanks
