problems browsing to a 2008 server

I have a multisite network with 9 domain controllers. At my primary site, I
have 2 Windows 2003 domain controllers and a mix of 2003 and 2008 (first
release) servers with, XP and Vista clients.

One of my 2008 servers has been having problems for a little while now. It
is a Xen Virtual machine (like the rest of my 2008 servers) and I have
problems with clients connecting to it via windows shares. It does not have
any problems connecting to other machines on the network via windows shares.
The firewall service is disabled. I have checked for DNS issues and found
none. You can not browse to it via IP or name. After reboot, the server works
for a little while and then stops working after about a day.

I have turned off RSS and Chimney. I read about CA Antivirus being a problem
at one point but I uninstalled that about a month and a half ago and switched
to Vipre Enterprise AV.

I am not sure where else to go from here so any help would be appreciated.

Did you have a look at this thread

It seems like many AV products are causing this issue...
