Since installing lastest set of updates everytime I right click on the
desktop, to bring up the drop down box to access display properties, the
computer locks up and has to be restarted to unfreeze it. Anyone know how to
fix the problem?

Hi, I was wondering if you found a solution to your problem. Im having the
same trouble. I found when I do ctl alt delet i see a name of verclsid.exe
when i remove it i can use my desktop. I googled the name and found a link
that was telling ppl to go into c:windows folder/system32 and change the name
of the verclsid.exc to verclsid.exc.old. I did and it worked fine. The next
day when I turned on my comp there it was back beside the one I renamed. I
just deleted the new one. Im hoping to find a solution to fix it perm.
Thanks

I have found some info, but have not yet acted upon it. It looks like it my
case it may be a problem with the driver for my nvidia GeForce 2 Graphics
Card not interacting well with Update KB918165
