Greetings,
There is a registry key that the Windows Installer uses to check if there was an install in
progress. But what I suggest you do instead if possible is to use System Restore to restore
to a point before the install. To do so, click Start, then Help & Support, and then 'Undo
changes to my computer using System Restore'.
