Everything was working properly, I went to log in the other day and it tells
me I need to install the newest version before I can log in. So I go install
it, its all going well, then the progress bar just stops. I let it sit there
for about an hour before I hit cancel on the whole bloody opperation. Now I
can't log in at all, I tried reinstalling the version. It told me that theres
another installation in progress, so I can't uninstall it either for the same
reason. Can someone please tell me where I can find the files in my registry
so i can delete them and try reinstalling.

Greetings,

There is a registry key that the Windows Installer uses to check if there was an install in
progress. But what I suggest you do instead if possible is to use System Restore to restore
to a point before the install. To do so, click Start, then Help & Support, and then 'Undo
changes to my computer using System Restore'.

Hi Jonathan,

I'm having the exact same problem, and system restore didn't work - is there
any other way of solving this problem because its very frustrating - you
mentioned something about registry keys?
