Lately i have been having problems with downloading any type of programme of
the net. The programme seems to down load then it disappears from the
assigned folder. I have even seen the icon of the downloading programme
disappear after the downloading has finished.
The download box does not give the option to open the folder at the end of
the download.
Please help me.

I am also having problems downloading. My MS Updates download on their own,
in fact, the same update has downloaded a few times and is another glitch I
need to check into. But my concern is that it appears any download is
properly loading but is no where in my hard drive. I've tried saving to the
desktop, running the installation download directly, but it doesn't matter.
There are no error messages either, appearing as if all downloaded correctly.
I tried turning off all firewalls too. I have no idea how to troubleshoot
this.

In classic view all the updates are the same, which were downloaded
automatically and installed per my choosing. This confuses me because
obviously the updates can transfer; why can't I download from other web sites
and why is there no error message and no confirmation window (if there is
one), again, appearing like the download transferred. Is this actually an
issue with IE7 as opposed to my pc or OS? Does anyone have an answer?
