problems with generic usb hub

Hi,

I had to reformat the hard disk of Toshiba Satellite P10 and I reinstalled
Windows XP family edition with SP1 and SP2, plus the following updates:
Security updates KB885836, KB885835, KB873339, cumulative for Internet
Explorer for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (KB834707)
Critical update for Windows XP (KB886185)

Now, I have problems with my USB hub: yellow exclamation mark, and
approximately the following message: "Windows has disabled this device
because of a problem - code 43"

When I uninstall the hub, it reinstalls nicely and works fine for a few
minutes, then same problem again.

I didn't have this problem before I reformated!...

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jean.
