Your message headers indicate that you have used Thunderbird to
post your enquiry on this newsgroup. I recommend that you never
disclose a real email address in public newsgroups (unless you
want to receive sack loads of junk mail). It is better to
configure your news client to quote a fictitious address (such as
).
You have posted this enquiry on the
microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger newsgroup. Is your
problem related to Windows Live Messenger in any way?
Are you using a web browser (such as Internet Explorer) to access
your Hotmail mail account(s) via the webmail interface - or are
you using a mail client utility (such as Outlook, Outlook
Express, or Windows Live Mail)? If you are using a browser, try
deleting cookies and Temporary Internet files- and try again.
That might, or might not help.
If you have installed Windows Live Mail on your computer, your
daughter could try creating an HTTP mail account in WLMail (she
should configure WLMail to use the HTTP server at
http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaS....0.0/sync.aspx).
However, WLMail might not provide access to her messages, if
there is a fundamental problem with her account on the Hotmail
server at Microsoft (in Seattle ??).
Alternatively, she might obtain more help in the
"microsoft.public.msn.discussion" newsgroup, if she is using the
webmail interface to access her Live Hotmail accounts,
