Problems with IE Crashing after WU Install of August 8

I downloaded and installed all the critical updates on August 9. Since that
time, IE gives me error messages at certain sites and requires IE to shut
down. Can you tell me how to fix this problem? Windows XP Pro - SPT 1. Thanks

I get the same problems on some machines. The only reference I have been
able to find was on the google boards

It lists a number of Internet exploerer errors you get after you install the
latest updates.

It seems to be related to the MS06-051. I have not tried uninstalling the
patchyet to see if it fixes the issue.

Please post the complete error message.

Are you running IE7 Beta3?

Has MS06-042/KB918999 been installed?

Recent anecdotal evidence suggests that installing MS06-042/918899 in WinXP
SP1 and Win2K where a Peoplesoft application is also installed may cause
problems/issues.
