Hi

I have problems with installing SP2 for Windows XP Home Edition (downloading
went without any troubles).
When the installationprocess reaches the point "Creating Cabinets" the
installationbar stops filling. It's not like the system freezes 'cos i still
can open Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer, it's just that installation
isn't progressing on from this point. (by the way to shut down the
installationprocess i have to kill it throu Task Manager, otherwise it won't
close-> it keeps on saying "canceling the update")
I tried to shut down all the background programs (Nortion Anti-Virus
Auto-protect included)+i installed the Critical Update for Windows XP
(KB885626) and still no progress.

Can anybody help me?

Thank you for your time
