Problems in installing sp2 updates

System:Windows XP Service Pack 2 (RTM) Simplified Chinese Version
There is a problem:No matter how I do,either use Windowsupdate or
download KB834707&886185 manually,I cannot install the patch.After I
agreed the
EULA,the patch tells me:The system cannot find the specified path(The
message is in Chinese,I translated it).WHY???
