WHy are the share folders not working
Why does messenger keep tellikng me im not logged in , or that people arent
in my contacts when they are?

What exactly about the sharing folders isn't working? Any error messages, etc.?

One thing to be make sure of is that you're using the latest version of Messenger as 8.0 has
a number of bugs that could cause you to see what you're experiencing, you can grab the
latest from here:
