problems with Norton Antivirus

Since installing the new update pack, everytime I log on, I get a balloon
saying Norton installed bu status unknown. When I check the Norton, it says
that system status is OK. What does this mean?

Manually use Norton's LiveUpdate. It will download the
"Norton WMI Update" and once it is installed, Windows Security
Center will properly monitor your Norton program.

....and then you get the chance to discover that Norton retail software
really isn't worth the hassle, and uninstall it!<g>
