The mouse is closely related to your video. Try updating or reinstalling your
video driver. You should also recheck the Mouse settings in Control Panel.

Sure. All you need is a wrench and... Just kidding :-)

This one should be in the event logs. Look in the "system" and
"application" error logs and see if there is a message with a red X next to it.

The service belongs to your HP printer. You might try
uninstalling/reinstalling the printer, getting the latest drivers from HP's
website. If that doesn't help, contact HP tech support.

That is the Vista Diagnostic Service Host (WdiServiceHost). It sounds as
though you may have hardware issues, but there really is no way for me to
accurately diagnose your computer from here. I very much doubt that it has
anything to do with your mouse. It could be a software issue (drivers,
malware) but since you are having lockups with various services, I would
start by testing your RAM and then your hard drive. Overheating can also
cause freezes.

Back up your data first.

Standard disclaimer: I can't see and test your computer myself, so these are
just suggestions based on many years of being a professional computer tech;
suggestions based on what you've written. You should not take my
suggestions as a definitive diagnosis. Testing hardware failures often
involves swapping out suspected parts with known-good parts. If you can't
do the testing yourself and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer,
take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local
equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad).
