Problems related to KB891861

User was getting an error when printing on a local 1060P Canon fax/printer of
"The print job failed to complete", "Reason", "The system has detected
conflicting print settings"
A search of Google pointed to removing
Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB891861) as a possible fix
of of the problem.

After searching the Event log I discovered shortly after this update was
installed the print error started occuring, so I did remove the update via
Add/Remove programs and the problem went away, I tried reinstalling the
update and problem returned, so I removed it again.

Removing this update also removes, KB902400, and KB900725.

Any other solutions to this problem besides removing needed security updates.

Although it's ment to resolve printer issues for some named printers
only, it may be worth giving
