Getting all kinds of errors and blue screens, starting with amt of mem has
changed..which it hasnt. Followed by all sorts of driver errors of svc pk 2.
does anyone know how to fix? short of rebuilding the entire machine without
svc pk 2? Every place i go to for help seems to pull up looking for
compatable drivers for other proggies. Or remove new hardware or
software...would be a nice fix if anything new was added. Another pain in
behind problem of svc pack 2. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You gave no specifics other to references to driver issues.
You may also have memory issues.
You never stated if you have the latest drivers for all your hardware.
You also did not state the OS but it seems you have Windows XP.
In some cases updated drivers are needed with the installation of a new
Service Pack.

Do you have multiple memory sticks?
Are they identical?
Try removing all but one making sure to keep at or above Windows XP 64 mb
minimum.
You may also have a BIOS problem.
The BIOS monitors the memory.

Sorry Jupiter,
Yes it is xp version 6, all the drivers have been updated, nothing is new we
put svc pack a couple months after it came out. Everything is updated
automatically and also go thru them manually.
memory has not changed in months yes i have 2 compatable chips, 512 and a
128 for a total of 640. Have other mem for it, will try your suggestions
first and see what happens, I think the 128 was a chip that was in this
machine when it over heated so it may be flakey. Since then the mfr replaced
all the interal components and we flashed the bios at that time. All was
good and everything remained unchanged till this started happenning 3 wks ago.
