Problems syncing contacts

Good Evening -

I am having problems syncing my contacts from Outlook 2002 to my contacts in
Pocket PC 2003 on my IPAQ 4350. The contacts all show in Outlook just fine
but won't sync over. I do not get any error messages but ActiveSync states
that everything has been syncronized. I have even moved over some of the
contacts in Outlook into categories and that doesn't work. I am at a lost.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. All other information such as
email or appts. are moving over just fine.

Thanks,
PLF

Hi,
Did you check the option to sync the Contacts? Did you limit the
synchronization to selected categories? These can affect the contacts that
are synchronized to the Pocket PC.

Hi,

I did do that and it is set up correctly. I did try to limit the sync to
selected categories and there was one check box next to a <No category> and
wouldn't allow me to change that default. I even had all contacts specified
(the top option or toggle under settings) and it still wouldn't sync over
any of the contacts. They do show in Outlook but just won't move over.
Maybe I should hard boot the device and reload ActiveSync?

Thanks,
Peggy

Hi,

Ensure you are not viewing a sorted list on your PPC. When you open
Contacts on your PPC, make sure that the little black arrow head (pointing
downwards) reads "All Contacts". Alternatively, perform a soft reset and
then open Contacts application. See if that is what is preventing your
Contacts from getting displayed.
