My computer has auto-updated KB929120 18 times. Anyone else had this problem?

I have a similar problem. My computer has auto-updated KB927978 numerous
times. I have stopped counting.

Thanks for letting me know. How do we get this problem fixed? I already sent
an email to Microsoft to fix the bug?

My computer is an HP notebook. windows update website told me to contact my
computer manuf. I am running xp media center. i got online and did an
online chat with tech support. i can e-mail you a transcript of what we
talked about if you can give me your e-mail address. it is too long to post
here.

also, i just noticed another thread here called "auto update looping". there
are links there to some support from microsoft

Yesme I think it's the same thing this is what i get
816093: Security Update Microsoft Virtual Machine (Microsoft VM)
This update helps resolve a vulnerability in the Microsoft virtual machine.
After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. Once you
have installed this item, it cannot be removed.
